Barton Grange Wedding Photography
Jayne and Matthews wedding was everything you could possibly want a Lancashire autumn wedding to be. The bride and groom got ready at the lovely Barton Grange Hotel with the ceremony taking place a little later in the Barton suite.
I love starting a wedding day out at Barton Grange. It’s such a vibrant hotel with such beautiful light. Jayne had her details all ready for me! How beautiful are her shoes?
The bride was surrounded by her bridesmaids and the very gorgeous flower girls (Mia and daughter Kayleigh) while she got ready. I love Jaynes attention to detail with the bridesmaids’ dresses, her choice of flowers, and even her flower girl’s wands!
The girls looked stunning
The boys were ready early doors.
Jayne and her mum were wonderful to watch. I loved documenting these most special of relationships !
When photographing a wedding, sometimes I see a beautiful moment (like the one above) and think that it can’t possibly get better than that. And then sometimes it does!
Jayne has wonderful style, and her dress matched her personality perfectly. I love the lace detail! Jayne wanted to have a “first look” of sorts with her mum and bridesmaids. This is their reaction upon seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time!
…I especially love Maureen’s incredibly charming reaction (mother of the bride).
Matthew waited patiently for his beautiful bride, his reaction was simply heart warming.
Time for a selfie.. ooh and a photo bomb or two.
Matthew……champion of the world..
After the ceremony was over, the bride and groom brought their bridal party to the beautiful hotel gardens for their bridal party portraits.
After the family formal photographs in the hotel grounds, it was off to the hotel gardens with the bride, groom, and bridal party. We arrived just late afternoon, and the light could not have been more stellar.
The light was disappearing which left us with limited time in the gardens, so we had to work quickly. Jayne and Matthew have wonderful chemistry and made my job incredibly easy!
Jaynes beautiful bridesmaids were absolutely brilliant and we were able to work with the last moments of sunlight before heading off the wedding reception.
Jayne and Mathew had some wonderfully tender moments. Very sweet, very funny, and very, very charming. What would a Barton Grange wedding be without a portrait under the Secret Garden archway !
We worked as quickly as we could in the fading light. It was so wonderful to be out in the late afternoon light, and even MORE wonderful that the bridal party were a joy to work with. We got some great shots !
As the last of the light faded, the sparklers were lit !
The first dance followed the dinner and speeches.
A stunning acoustic performance given by the Love Rats ensured a romantic dance floor display followed by a spectacular performance from Kayleigh the robot. A full round of thundering applause to finish off.
Jayne and Matthew, I cannot thank you enough or your enthusiasm, energy and kindness. I know your wedding photography was very important to you and I thank you for the time that you gave me to create images that I hope you love as much as I loved capturing them for you.
Lots of love
